“Retrospective Exhibition on the 67-Year History of the Macau Grand Prix Together” was put on display at Taipa Pier for a month starting yesterday to warm up the atmosphere of the Grand Prix.

The “Retrospective Exhibition on the 67-Year History of the Macau Grand Prix Together” co-organized by the Taipa Ferry Terminal Chamber of Commerce and CSI Group held an opening ceremony yesterday (19th) at the arrival hall of the Taipa Ferry Terminal. The retrospective exhibition will be on display for one month from now on. Promote Macao’s largest annual sports and racing event to tourists and local residents.

In his speech, Cheng Zhijin, Chairman of CSI Group, said that the Macau Grand Prix represents Macau’s sports event and has witnessed the progress and evolution of Macau’s sports events. We hope to inherit the success of previous years and hold the “Retrospective Exhibition on the 67-Year History of the Macau Grand Prix Together” this year to provide early publicity for the Macau Grand Prix to local residents and visitors to Macau.

The exhibition was held at the arrival hall of Taipa Ferry Terminal from yesterday to November 22. The exhibition is set up in different areas to display historical exhibits related to the Macau Grand Prix from different eras, allowing visitors to feel the atmosphere of the Grand Prix as soon as they arrive in Macau. In addition to historical briefing boards and exhibits, there are also two real racing cars on display, including the Audi R8 LMS Evolution and Lotus Exige.

“Retrospective Exhibition on the 67-Year History of the Macau Grand Prix Together” is organized by the Taipa Ferry Terminal Chamber of Commerce and CSI Group, and is jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, the Maritime and Water Bureau, the Tourism Bureau, Kenneth International Entertainment, ZUVER Racing Team, Tianshi Supported by the team, MACPRO Team, China Telecom (Macau), Kenneth Wine Cellar, and Aimashan. Guests attending yesterday’s opening ceremony included MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Chairman of the Municipal Affairs Bureau Management Committee Dai Zuyi, Deputy Director of Sports Bureau Lam Lianjiao, Acting Director of Maritime and Water Bureau Tang Yuping, Director of Information Bureau Chen Lu, Suncity Group Chief Executive Officer and Director Zhou Zhuohua, Sands China President and Executive Director Wang Yingwei, Legislative Council Member Ye Zhaojia, etc.
